Local Elections

All candidates received an initial courtesy phone call introducing the candidate questionnaire project. 

Questions were mailed to all the candidates in mid-March. 

The deadline for receiving candidate answers was May 3rd. 

All answers received by Humboldt Tea Party Patriots have been posted verbatim on each office’s page. 

Candidates who chose not to answer questions are listed at the top of each office’s page. 

Candidate Questionnaire Procedure:

Read the Candidates responses to our

interviews by clicking on the links below.

To register, you must:

· Be a United States citizen

· Be a resident of California

· Be at least 18 years old by the date of the next election

· Not be in prison or on parole for conviction of a felony

· Not be judged by a court to be mentally incompetent to register and vote

You must re-register if you:

· Move

· Change your name

· Change your political party

You must register by October 18th to vote in the November 2nd election. 

In order to receive a Sample Ballot and State Voter Pamphlet, you must be registered by October 1st.

Are You Registered to Vote?

Pick up a Voter’s Registration form at one of the following locations:

· Office of County Registrar   (Call and they will mail you a form (707) 445-7678)

· Post Office or DMV

· Republican Headquarters

· Democrat Headquarters

· Many City Clerk Offices and Libraries
